The Roberts is almost finished, spent most of today building her up... Still need to run down to BC and get a seatpost binder bolt and adjust the saddle before I can take it for a spin... Probably gonna stick my stealth CK headset on it too... Brakless 'til my Keirin brake arrives in a coupla weeks so don't stop in front me suddenly!?! She'll do for now... Next project, the polo bike...

Where'd you get your brake from Teens? I'm looking for one too and I think NJSBlogspot and Hubjub work out as pretty similar prices..
-
• #12532
Mr. Slain - that ticks most of the hipster bike boxes - Classic steel, no brakes, aerospok, deep v, double toe straps...Very nice sir.

Wish I could help, Will... I actually tried to buy it off him last year but he had to go back to Japan before we could do the deal... When the Roberts was in my grubby mitts I emailed him to see if he still had it, and he did?!? One-off deal I'm afraid...

and then earlier with the freaking out over painting a bike....
have a laugh for shits sake.
biking is serious bizzniss.haha. I think people were 'freaking out' because there was absolutley no fucking point repainting that bike. But you're right.
... Good looking project ...
... for instance (not having a pop you in particular, chris, btw, just your comment was handy) ... WHY OH WHY do we refer to 'bikes' as 'projects'?! Its in the title of this thread ... it fucking annoys the piss out of me. Its a bike. Not a fucking 'project'. It's like those location location location twats constantly referring to 'houses' or 'flats' as 'properties'.
I promise never to say this again. Well. not today anyway.
Just call them 'bikes'. It's only a frame and some wheels and stuff, you're not bloody Damien Hirst.

Oi Skully, don't forget about "build" too!

Got a stealth front that's half built up, I may be selling the Arrospok on anyway...

Bob Jackson Audax frame (FOR MY FATHER!), Cobalt Blue with silver lug lining, it's fairly a standard colour scheme, it'll be build in a very classic looking racer like the Colnago, with modern part of course (very pointless and silly to use old part!), it'll be use for commuting, touring, racing, etc. all kind of riding really;

where will you be racing that? the Bob Jackson fetishists annual criterium?
and commuting when you don't have a job?
I think there are too many questions and not enough answers, Mr. Scoble, I am disappointed with your progress...

Daddies bike!
@smallfurry, you were almost spot on with the first guess of a kite, the downtube is immense!
will definitely work as a weather vane too...
