Full shot of my partsbinwinterbiek.
Frame was skip-dived (a better class of junk in my ends).

That bar tape somehow works.

Did you really find the frame in a skip? It's like winning the lottery!
In all my years of walking past skips, I've never ever seen anything bicycle related. I must venture into more affluent areas. -

It was propped against the recycling bin on the eve of bin day. I banged on the door to double check it wasn't accidentally left there and the guy said "help yourself".

Thanks so much, I've not used anything but black or white bike ribbon in the past 30years so this is quite a change!
In my head it was going to look like

Oo, love a Graham Weigh. Interested in the forks, are they original? Never saw the ones which mine would've originally come with.

Cheers, it's nothing fancy/steel/Donohue, just one of the nervex 7005 (Ambrosio?) frames that flooded the market in the early 00s but the massive stickers are ace!

Will PM with a pic of mine

Re: Forks: Ambrosio Venturi A8 - carbon steerer and aluminium dropouts. I think they're original to the frame.

Any feedback about chain falling in non NW chainring and regular RD?
Would appreciate it. -

Retired the carbon wheels on the Van Tuyl unfortunately; now it has some sensible(ish) wheels and gearing (50/34 x 11-28):

Picked up a GT Team Avalanche frame for buttons. It’s ratty as fuck, which is fine by me, but a previous owner was obviously a fucking moron as they have done some repainting using blobs of what looks like poster paint in a totally different colour, which is not fine by me. What’s the best way of getting it off without further damaging the original paintwork? Heat + wire wool?

Not sure, do you think you could pick it off with a suitably shaped sharp knife?

I missed that bike but you build it up perfectly.

Any idea what bike frame manufacturers use frame number AS8100? I'm not sure if it's full number, picture is terrible.

What rack is this?

How's handling with that half a meter stem?
Bike looks very good by the way

I'm in the process of upgrading my Canyon Dude (more on that to come). Whilst looking for parts, I came across a guy who is selling a Miranda infinium crankset, which he thinks is a fat bike crank (becauce the axle is way to long for his mountainbike apparently). Unfortunately he doesn't have any more info on it.
Is it possible to tell what kind of BB / rear hub setup this crank is right for? My Dude has a PF121 bb and a 190mm rear hub. From what I've (and don't quite understand yet), that information is rather essential.
