Where is the best place to buy handlebar tape? As looking at the bike which hasnt arrived yet looks like it needs to be replaced with new tape.

Raleigh stockists do a lovely old style vinyl bar tape for £5.

Depends on what you want.. LBS will stock most things but you can get cheap cork stuff off eBay and on most bike websites.

yeah, that cloth tape isn't the most comfortable. get some cork stuff or even modern synthetic. try and get a dark colour if you can stand it though. lighter stuff just ends up looking grubby in a matter of days

I want to do a 6027 with pink bits, but i dont think neon pink would look as good as baby pink? wheelsets will be black thoug mind you.

Maybe you should start a new thread for all your questions rather than cluttering up what has been one of the best threads on here. I mean 11 posts on one page about where to buy bar tape from and what colour would go best with your possibly soon to be baby blue frame is not really in the spirit of a thread where people post up photos of their new builds.

You may also want to learn how to UTFS and thay wonderful tool called Google, both are very useful in tracking down bar tape, coloured nipples, pink hubs and anything else you might need for your build.
