  • scott, i think all the pain killers are affecting you sense of judgement

  • scott, i think all the pain killers are affecting you sense of judgement

    My sense of judgement on what? it helps when you quote what you're referring to :)

  • dale doesn't have to quote, he doesn't know

  • I gots mudguards now too...CTC here i come! :)

  • good lord. your bike you've been harping on about the last 10 pages.

  • Err, well i figured you meant my bike...but which part is supposedly poor judgement oh great one?

  • Choosing not to back up your theory with any knowledge again Dale? :)

  • I gots mudguards now too...CTC here i come! :)

    When I get my Roberts I'm going to get:

    • mudguards
    • chain guard
    • mirrors
    • reflectors
    • a map holder
    • a d lock bracket
    • a dynamo
    • a trailer
      then we'll see who's the most CTC of them all :D
  • then you'll have to send Chas and the boys a postcard with a picture of you standing next to it on the top of some mountain 10,000,000 Km away.

    (this makes sense to those who have visited CR in CR20)

  • then you just need this and you're sorted Bendix! :)

  • then you just need this and you're sorted Bendix! :)

    You do realise I'm now going to be pestering you to make me one of them for the rest of time?

  • then you'll have to send Chas and the boys a postcard with a picture of you standing next to it on the top of some mountain 10,000,000 Km away.

    (this makes sense to those who have visited CR in CR20)

    I will. I'm picking up an amazing tent to take 10,000,000 km away later today.

    eee.

  • first one finished=)

    Whats the story behind this one, Brucy?

  • Summer projects.

    Uhm... Looks like the two frames I used... :)

    Wait a minute... you are building a tandem?

  • I wanna see the chocolate donkey, this sounds interesting.....

  • @balki: i think hes brazed on track ends

  • and removed braze ons judging by where the paint has been removed.

  • Fucks sake, i'm half asleep this morning, just realized you posted pics of the donkey already, that brake mod is so ridiculously cool! likin it a lot!

  • @balki: i think hes brazed on track ends

    Ah, I see...

    I love Brucys bodges!

  • Has mr Forsythe started a DIY show?

  • Still waiting to reap the benefit of your knowledge Dale...seems you lack the courage of your convictions sir. ;)

  • +1

  • Choosing not to back up your theory with any knowledge again Dale? :)
    hey you know i used to be a power lifter!

  • Yeah, but its equally as likely to get returned due to the ridiculousnessness of the paintjob.

    is a formula:
    where r= ridculousnessness of the paintjob
    and v= visibility
    and s= stealability
    and d=returnability:

    as r increases v increases with it:
    hence r=v
    v and s are linked but due to the the fact that s has other factors such as:
    l=locked upness
    and i=idiot quota
    it is not as linked as r and v.
    hence
    r= v= s x (i + l)

    hence we can say that
    s= r/(i+l)

    also the returnability rises with increased ridiculousnessness but has the factors:
    p= pervasiveness of the public conscious (i.e. how much of a show off you are)
    and
    z= laziness of the theif
    and of course v

    hence d= vzp

    therefore:

    d= vzp= s(i+l)zp

    or s=d/(i+l)zp

    Thus we can see the benefits and costs of having a ridiculous paintjob quite simply.

    (this was taken from the textbook 'Completely bollocks maths can prove almost any point' written by Prof. D Wiesenbach and Dr. R Stude

    edit whilst writing all that drivel 2 new lovely bikes have been put up.
    very, very, very nice.

    Golden post.

    ... i want to save the big light only for when it's really needed. Mounting the silver one there takes up no extra bar space. The knogs are just to make me extra visible or for when i'm in lit up areas.
    ...

    Belt and braces on the lights, scott. Would love to see that on a dark road.

    I gots mudguards now too...CTC here i come! :)

    Nice!

    Fiddy's been busy, nice work fella. the moser's bloomin marvellous as well as the Nag.

    Pajamas, the PP is great. Ride it like the wind.
    YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

  • Ah, I see...

    I love Brucys bodges!
    i cant be asked with the brazing no more its all tig from now on. the blue one is simply a conversion/geometry correction, the pink one thats today lunch time job youll like this one.
