Hi All,
Finally got to the point where I could ride my current project around a bit.
It's a 1960 Hetchins track frame, 531 with lovely Experto Crede curly lugs, and gorgeous head tube badge.Rather than go for classic components, I went the modern day route, but tried to be a bit subtle and keep the frame as the centerpiece.
Not too keen on the chainring or the tyre wheel combination, but it will do for now.I know it will offend the purists, but hell that's what they're there for right?!

Riding it as single speed at the moment, plan to HTFU over the summer and flip the wheel to the fixed cog...
(thanks to the guys at 14 for fitting the headset and bottom bracket a few weeks back)

Got my Mercian back a while ago, having had some new (threaded) forks built for it.
A few changes, though not many. Still worth a post though...

Sorry bout the massive pics... maybe VB will be able to make them slightly smaller..? -

Or maybe just reduce them to links... anyone know how i can make them smaller?

@ forms - looking good. the Mercian looks better with quill stem IMO.Was it also the fork that caused the bike leaning to one side?

any reason why you need two nags?
One was difficult, but the second was begging for some respect and salvation. I emulated John Prescott.

Yeah man, it was all in the fork - no lean what so ever with the new one!
I agree, i think i prefer it with the quill stem as well. -

That Mercian is a sexy frame.
Sweet, can't wait to see those built up. Is the nag going to be full njs?
