This has been a bit of a budget build.. not too sure about the reflector will probably take it off. Need to get a new saddle, and brake.. The stem wont budge, stuck in, it can spin around but wont come out.
What is good in the way of front brakes.
Oh and I am going to re-spray the frame in a few months when i have time. Got some cool ideas.

Its a BSA Sportsman, It is a nice green but looks better in the pics..quite tatty. I wanted to tape up the BSA and SPORTSMAN (black details on the frame) and spray the rest.. new fresh paint with an old school feel of the other bits..

Only 3 components added and it's on it's way to being a fail already :-(
Yet to see a decent build of this....is anyone ever gonna do one?
Well volunteered Pisti....Care to share your unique vision of cycling style and elegance with the rest of us?
Gimme a Cinelli frame then and I'll have a go
Just waded through lots of Cinelli Mash bikes on the internet.
Most looked the same, not particularly bad, just the same.
Black seatposts, white saddles with black bar and stem combos were the norm.
Maybe a deliberate but subtle splash of colour would make them come alive for Pistanator. That's where I'd start.

OK, its a bloody mtn bike ...sorry
and its the 9 speed and not the single speed version...sorry again.
But I've kinda fallen for this frame, and was wondering if anyone new anything about Spot Brand Bikes and more specifically their longboard frames. I get the impression they're handmade (to standard geo or custom). The geometry should fit me really nicely (according to some head scratching and scribblings on paper, but no real knowledge on my part).
Cheers for any info :)
If I can get this frame cheapish, I might be tempted to change my SS 29er plans to 1x9 29er.(PS: I understand I a knob spanner for posting a geared MTB on a single speed forum)

Is that a polo gear he's running?
PMSL
as for the cinelli mash's they are just a grey oversized alloy track frame with a low front end (that people then put risers on)
can't really see what the attraction in the frame is?
is it because it's got a mash sticker on the headtube? save yourself a few hundred quid and buy a dolan and a mash decal. sorted. -

mostly @ edmunro: ^ turn the seat post 'round then...? Bikes used to have their seat clamps at the back of the saddle, no reason why you couldn't do it to reduce the stretch...
I could think of some...
Do you think it's fair to change the seat angle (saddle position front/aft) that much to get the reach right ?
Usually, first you set the saddle right hight and ref. to the BB-axle).
Then, you find out the right stem length and bars poition.
Not the other way 'round. But of course, you can try ot.
Perhaps it works (apart from the looks). -

'subtle splash of colour' is where it's at, done tastefully of course :-)

I love Harrys bikes, so much fun, I played a prank on him at his art show thing the other week when I was down there with a mate.
Ran up to him in a panic pretending the super-fluro-lo-pro™ had been stolen, he went white as a ghost and actually had to steady himself against the wall for a moment haha, pure comedy gold! -

That's a bit harsh, it's a decent colour scheme he's got with the frame, seatpost and stem, just needs to get a black saddle and it's looking promising.

almost complete, just need some shimano ax hoods.
its the GF's bike....as you can see, she's tiny...thats a 47cm frame! That bike is gorgeous. If your missus decides it's too big then i will take it off of your hands in a heartbeat.
Are they 650s... if not, would it not be better to get a frame built for them?
Is that a polo gear he's running?
