Managed to take some pics of the 'dale between two raindrops.
Laced a new rear wheel with d-a hub and nos rigida rim and got a purple seat collar to add a bit of color

The old toptube is going to be cut once the other tubes are welded. The new toptube once was an mtb downtube, so should be plenty stiff. As a bonus there are bottle bosses on the toptube.

That sounds like a great place for bottles too!

Oh definitely, but maybe not in the rear wheel. My cat gets sick when I put it there and ride over 15 kph.

I ride with him but it's more like he carry me at 25kmh, for 20 min and after he stop.

Swapped out the contact points on @edmundro's old Kona - wider bars and crabon SMP. Next up: full guards (for Scottish winters) and looking at rack/pack options. Taking it out for a first long ride tomorrow on the Downs Link to Brighton...

A standard Kalloy job will do it, gloss and a nice conventional set back, unbranded, cheap and decent quality. check cnc-bike.de, they have all diameters in black
