Cruiser bars predictably comfy. Sort of want a volta which may look horrendously out of place, any saddle suggestions for this?

Looking to stick some road levers on my fixed - front brake only but going to fit both for hand positions. Got my eye on the Cane Creek SCR 5 Brake Levers - are these a good choice? will the left side be all floppy? Thanks
-
• #113639
If I remember correctly only the cheaper Sram ones did not have a return spring.
-
• #113640
SCR-5s have a spring in both sides, so they don't rattle even brakeless. Bitch to wrap though

Nice one, thanks guys

I initially had tektro something or other levers which had springs, but bought some SRAM S500 from someone on here which have a much nicer hood shape but no spring. I just peeled back the front of the hood and wrapped a bit of black electrical tape around it which holds it in place, really not a problem and worth it for how much nicer it feels.

Very cool!

The expensive ones don't have a spring either. Still worth the trouble if you like the hood shape.

Looking good, what gear inches you rolling with there?

wrapped a bit of black electrical tape around it
Self-amalgamating silicone rubber tape is even better, no sticky glue to get filthy, and it's elastic so you don't pull it off if you accidentally pull the lever.
Thanks for all the advice!
