They're very shiny but a weird choice of steel and alu.

That's a nice frame, great colours.
Is it the right size for you (before you go any further)? The seat & stem are currently quite low.

brakeless with flat pedals?
If your referring to the Raleigh... it's clearly in the process of being built.

Might be referring to Icecream's build? Jambon's still has a freewheel cluster on it (I think)

@ Hat He Chewed
"brakeless with flat pedals?" - probably for about a week until i really hurt myself. yeah think straps would be sensible

what are the forks? they are nice
They are off an early 90' pinarello
I got them for a tenner from my LBS odds and ends bin - heres a better pic, thy go well with the frame when built up, they wouldnt suit a lugged frame, but IMO look rather spiffing with the KHS

95% Happy, gonna change the saddle to Brooks pro, playing about with saddle and stem positions.Bar Tape hmmmmm?
-

yes bartape. stem looks like it should be in a bit further but ultimately up to you.

They're Record Pista hubs, which are going to be somewhat of an experiment on the street and ceramic Open Pro's, which is why they have the dark grey braking surface.
how do you like the OP ceramics? how's the braking power?

Here's my "new" frame all built up..I don't like it one bit, it's 52cm (which is about 6 cm too small..) and even though it looks decent, the other side looks like it was dragged behind a car on its way to the recycling station where I found it (together with the Gitane btw, so it was a nice day..^^)..
It's noticably heavier than my bent Moto (which is behind it btw), but I guess it'll have to do until I find a big enough frame..the bullhorns are there 'cause my knees kept hitting the drops when I leaned to skid.
Edit: And yes, the brake is just out of the frame (lol, the picture-frame :P) but is going to be on the frame (bike-frame) tonight..

Finished my Dawes Galaxy conversion. Here are a few pic before and after.
The frame turned out to be in much worse condition than I thought after it came back from powdercoating but it'll do as a decent hack and the total cost was about £350 - quite a lot but the components are OK and I can use them on another build sometime. I may even sell this soon.
Old charge spoon seat on it now - may be better with my honey brooks B17 but not if it's going to get left all day long in public when I commute.
