Last things to do are getting brake cables and spacers to make it singlespeed. Took the paint off th stem and clearcoated it, cleaned up all surface rust and serviced the headset. Might get risers later and maybe 1x.

A chain would be practical too.

right, yeah, okay!
My old caad10 was a 56 and legnth wise it fit really well but the stack too low and I needed like 50mm of spacers for comfort.
the 58 caad10 has a 0.5mm more reach but a 1.5cm longer TT. Would this be too big? As I had a 100mm stem with average compact bars and then a 20mm setback post on the 56 and length wise was great.

I have just mashed together a bunch of spare parts onto this old Titan frame as my winter hack. I shall call it Prometheus ...

Very nice yes, stiff and not too heavy

The 58 has a smaller seat tube angle which impact the length of the top tube. However the reach is only 5mm longer on the 58.
You should be able to reproduce the same position as on the 56 with a zero setback seat post.

I applaud your choice of name for your creation. All builds need a name.

Thanks! It being a Titan, I thought it suited. Now, I just need to steel fire from Heaven, pass it to Humankind, and then get totured by Zeus (all whilst riding).

Be careful you don't catch any small children with that rear derailleur cable loop.
Work in progress. Needs bigger tyres, single speedz and basket.
