Wasn't sure if you saw my earlier post, I wasn't blown away by the finish quality. Otherwise seems good, mounting system is very adaptable and it is fairly light.

My minoura gamoh porter seems stiffer, wider, it is heavier and also doesn't have the pannier mounts. If you only want the top though I would say get the minoura. I got the pelago for this build as its more
versatile and I'll be using it on my croix for touring.

Super happy with how the build worked out, really glad I went quill and managed to pick up the bargain salsa! Ride is so nice.

Oh right, I remember that thing about the join looking so-so. No structural issues though I hope. Btw finish or Finnish quality? ;-)

If it had been Finnish quality I'm sure I would have no cause for complain!

The ISP is about 1cm too short for me so I had to fit a saddle with an additional 1cm of profile.

(I had a stripped Aspide that looks sweet)

I had a quick look online to find an ISP with more adjsutment options but I have not found one yet.

Thanks @Sumo but it is the 'teardrop' shape I am after, not the 'round' ones that come in different diametres.

I will measure and probably ask frame sellers on AliExpress...

Had to ghetto mill 0.75mm off of the hidden tab of a chainring this morning. I'm sure @mdcc_tester knows all about the carbon Centaur dished chainrings and would never make such a mistake.

What's the solution to this? It rubs, only just, but it definitely rubs. @mdcc_tester would your 55t chainring have a small enough diameter to fit? What are the other options? Crimping the chainstay seems a bit drastic?

New bike?

One less tooth means about 2mm less radius, probably not enough. You can't move Omnomnoms to the right, at least not by much. You could face a bit off the NDS of the BB she'll and maybe shim between the axle step and the NDS bearing, but that's a lot of hassle for 1mm.

Custom dished chain ring is obviously the way to go, should be no more than £300 if we bundle it in with my 56T VumaChrono special ☺

Possibly :-) I already need a Gaston™ seatpost and a -30º 130mm stem to get it to fit my position...

Still, I'll look to see if I can find any spacers this evening. What is the minimum chain stay clearance I should be looking for? Will a single 2mm spacer be enough?
