I do need 28 mm rake like the current fork, just to be a pest... :/
The HT angle is that steep that more rake means less trail means "exciting times" :)

Today I started my vacation, so I built up a "Touring" bike with things I had on the shelves.
The idea is a bit shorter touring rides with tents and fishing rod, and of course a box of beer :)
better photos tomorrow!

That's a great bike! I advise you to use a front brake when you are touring. Brakeless with luggage is not that great, trust me I tried.

but at least you have a bumper!

Looks lovely! What's the front/rando bag on this? Looks to be purely attached to the bars (no rack?) - does it feel stable enough? Looking for something for an imminent LEJOG trip...

Nice bike! Don't really like the aesthetics of silver 105 cranks though.

^^ white looks good, but that may mean white bartape to match...the most impractical of all ;)
-
• #102796
Very true... Considering bright coloured Benotto tape?

Cheers. Yes they are. No problems with them and they're riding nicely. I like the perfect tyre>rim transition with the 23mm veloflex #marginalgains

I went with silver because it sort-of matches and is a bit different. And I always rub a silver mark in black cranks anyway...

Nice. Wonder If I should have ordered those, not the pave 28's hmmm.

Probably built by the same hands. These are wider and lighter – all good so long as they stay together.
Heh "verdorie" none on there atm.
But a friend of mine may wrangle a favour of a framebuilder...if that falls through saved search set on ebay :D
