updating my cx project.
from black alu mechanic disc 10speed to blue carbon hydro disc 11speed

Damn... Was hoping for a pic of a sexeh man :-(

There are no redirects on that server because I wanted to be able to embed those images here :-)

In fact, the sexeh man image doesn't get served to anybody any more, the redirects in use just go to a tiny placeholder. People used to try to embed Tommy the Trojan, but got a more modern looking chap striking a similar pose, but with something entirely different in his hand

edit Also, saddle angle looks very similar to how I have my Concor set up. Nose slightly higher than the centre keeps you well centred. Much lower and I'm slipping forwards slightly due to the lip at the back. #coolsaddlebro

What happened to the white tape?

Couldn't afford white C Record hoods!! White tape in the old pics was just scrap tape from a friends build. Might change over in the future!

them hubs are deep green

Longer stem and track drops to optimise the reach, compacts just weren't deep enough

Thinking about appropriate bottle cage for my modern retro road bike. One way is modern carbon/alloy or should I stick with with classic steel lines? Really like arundel steel but bit too pricey for thing that holds bottle. Suggestions?

Also what would be nice color for bottle? Pink comes in mind first. Something that pops or calm transparent color with black top?

It's pretty easy not to skid all the time brakeless.

LifeLine Ti cage? Very understated, weighs nothing and holds the bottle very well. Personally would go for something similarly discreet for the bottle. Black/White, black/grey.

Had my local framebuilder shave some mm up top to fit this headset with greater stack with much success. Just waiting on cranks to arrive to finish the build.
Already planning colours for repaint but gotta rep OG for a bit at least.
