  • yeah. what he said.

  • yeah, but recipe!!!!!!

    ALRIGHTT!!!! jjjeeeeezzzzz....
    :D

    Mixed Berry Muffins
    Preparation (total) - 30min.
Level - Anyone can do it.

    Stuff innit:

    1/2 Cup Butter

    • 3/4 of a Cup Sugar (additional icing sugar for sprinkling)

    • 2 Large eggs

    • 1 1/2 Tsp. Vanilla (pods or extract)

    • 3/4 Cups Sour Cream

    • 2 Cups Self-Raising Flour

    • 1/4 Tsp. Baking soda

    • 1/2 Tsp. Salt

    • 1 Cup frozen Blueberries

    • 1 Cup frozen Raspberries

    How to:

You have a bowl yeah, put butter innit. Mix the sugar inside,
and the eggs, one by one. Then Vanilla and Sour cream.
This is the batter, mix it well, very, very well.
Another bowl, something else equally amazing about to happen.

Sift together flour-salt-baking soda, into the batter, pout the berries
    on top.
VERY IMPORTANT NOW!.. you don't want to stir all this together,
simply fold it 2/3 times, til sorta blending happens.

Spoon it to a 12 1/2 Cup Muffin tray, covered individually with
baking paper. Bake at 200º for 20/25min, or until golden on top.
Oven should be really fucking hot when used.
    Serve with thick DBL cream.
    Don't eat everything alone.

*The amount for 1 'Cup' should be according to the size of the Sour Cream cup.
    Makes sense.

  • (how am I supposed to sell this now...?)

  • Don't eat everything alone.

  • That's Max^^fact.
He's asked me to bake a whole tray for him...

  • I'll do 12 for a tenner.
    Delivered at your sofa.

  • I live in Nottingham, London people are lazy, you'll be able to sell it.

can't you just start a cafe?
    you;ve got some amazing recipes.

  • What meat are people having for xmas? I'm trying to convince the parents to get goose this year for the first time in my 25 year life, I'm a bit sick of turkey.

  • goose probably. is amazing.
    turkey is for thanksgiving.

    Edit:
    turkey.

  • Yeah I've been thinking in opening something original, around East London.
Somewhere to share my recipes, and love for bikes... Imagine:

Loads of mixed, old furniture, big ass sofas and cushions, WI-FI available.
And then.... Coffee, the best selections... all of this served with a good
share of Irony and Sailor tattoos.
I'd called it, Tree Angle - and I'd have people on Fridays, Art
students going wild on Ketamine until 6 in the morning. Sounds totally cool,
    and awesome. And original. Lol.
I'd have to open another Flickr account, just to post my customer pictures.
    .......... ...

  • and thanks unharmed.
see you for coffee sometime soon.

Absolutely. Let me know when you're around.

I'm going to do the normal turkey/ham combo I think. More question marks over the sides at this point.

  • Also, I would totally go there ^^^ for muffins.

  • I would go there for ketamine.

  • ...and muffins

  • Would there be age restrictions Nuknow?

  • thanks for the recipe nuno, they were amazing!
haven't made the cinnamon rolls, yet though.
Oatmeal/ Peanut Butter cookies are the next thing, in a few weeks....

  • I think we're gonna have a porchetta (like below, nom) again this year (tho' much smaller than last year's, which was gargantuan and lasted 'til almost new year) and a simple roast chicken... Just the two of us so no sense in going crazy...

  • Next term, post Exams, I'm clearly going to have to try making Salt Beef.
    sounds easy, takes time.
    and biltong.
    making that box soon.

  • I would rather Chicken than turkey, nicer flavour and stays moist. My mum likes a big bird though.

  • Got a bottle of port on the go at home, Xmas is really here now. I'll get some strong stilton on the way home so this post qualifies for the food thread.

  • Would there be age restrictions Nuknow?

Yes. No. Yes.... no, OK. Yes.

  • Nu-[STRIKE]metal[/STRIKE]muffins:

  • ^ They look awesome! ^

I just made muffin sized cup cakes! First time I've ever baked a cake in my life. Girlfriend says "just follow a recipe, and don't experiment because you don't know what you're doing". I mostly followed the recipe, but experimented a bit. I now have massive cup cakes, BRIGHT pink icing, some sprinkles (mashed up malteasers and grated dark choc), and a suprise in the middle of each cake.

    They probably taste like shit.

  • Nu-[STRIKE]metal[/STRIKE]muffins:

yours came out better than mine!
    bastard.
I feel inadequate as a baker now :(

  • Delicious too :-)

Could have been a bit more generous with the batter I think. Some of them were distinctly runt-ish.
