Someone returning from a holiday has dumped a pile of Australian sweets and cookies by my desk; Cherry Ripes, Pineapple Lumps, Kooka cookies, Mint Slices all good but chicken flavoured Arnotts crackers are so wrong it's right.

Went to Lorelei in Soho, Bateman St, the other night. Cheap as you like, but really excellent pizza, BYO, like eating in somebody's lounge, no frills whatsoever. Great little place.
Read about Randall & Aubin a few posts back.That TV chef Ed Baines runs it - had half a lobster and fries there a few years back, didn't rate it, too expensive, good atmosphere though.
