Brilliant for prawn cocktail :)
Must admit it was a real eye opener and be damned that I didnt have a kitchen to cook :(
However the visit to a local sushi bar pretty much made my day, the tastiest (and also costly) sushi meal I ever had.

After Dooks' post on the previous page I've pretty much been thinking all day about a trip to the Company Shed in Mersea Island.
Was thinking a ride might be in order.
According to GMaps it's about 60/70 miles there from Regents Park so that's probably a little presumptuous to think that we're all going to be comfortable cycling all the way there.
Instead would anyone be up for catching a train to Chelmsford and then cycling the last 25/30 miles.
Windy but nice views. Pretty flat, too.I've probably shot myself in the foot by thinking of this just as it starts to get colder but I'm up for it so long as it's not pouring down with rain.
**What you get: **
Awesomely fresh and tasty seafood. (Winters the best season for Colchester native oysters apparently)
Blustery day by the coast in winter to get rid of cobwebs.
Bit of exercise.
Rosy cheeks.
Potential for a sea shore themed spoke card. What you hope not to get:
Diarrhetic shellfish poisoning.Any takers?
