Apparently they are very good. I keep forgetting to order them as the regular menu is quality. DJ and Murtle love 'em.

Not at all! I'm an equal opportunities pudding employer.
Not when it comes to sauce.
Brown sauce is best.White sauce is a bit bland, to be honest.
Red sauce has been re-branded as native American Indian sauce.
Political correctness gone mad. Tsk.

I cooked myself a vegetarian treat tonight:
Basil Tofu on top of Shiitake Mushroom Lentils, with a side of Halloumi, mixed Mushroom and Zucchini.
Super easy to make,
Flavoured the Lentils with dried Shiitakes, Cumin and Chili Powder- simmered for 1/2 hr.
Grilled the Halloumi, Mushrooms and Zucchini in a mild fresh chili and black pepper mix.
Fried some Basil Tofu, and layered as follows:
It was excellent, the flavours meshed real nice.
I would have added some greek yoghurt to the lentils if i had some. -

maybe this will meet with more approval.
Something i made a few years ago instead of a birthday cake for a friend.
I take orders, and will pimp the fuck out of most things.I think we worked out it had 10,000-20,000 calories or something stupid.
My friend finished it in 3 days. -

Anyone make scotch eggs before? If so recipes please. Seems I agreed to have a go whilst slightly drunk last night.
my mum makes amazing ones - taste nothing like the grim processed ones you buy in shops. i think the recipe is something like....
boil eggs, let cool and peel.
add some raw egg to good quality seasoned pork mince. take hanfull of mince, flatten out a bit then envelop egg in said pork mince. roll in raw egg and then bread crumbs. then fry in fat (best is tray fat from cooking ham) and quince jelly (makes them sticky and a little bit sweet on the outside). AMAZING.

Itsu is very expensive.
Those wee eggs are bloody nice though. They'd want to be for 8 quid.
