I use sainburies cooking bacon is awesome for this odd bits sizes and smoked and unsmoked giving a nice mix.

Thanks! they are a permanent fixture at markthalle neun and they are amazing in a "Berlin has almost no barbecue" kind of way but not like amazing amazing. I don't think they were doing anything special for it being breakfast.
If you are vegetarian there are a number of veggie things that were good but not much vegan (you are one of those two, right?)
The best permanent thing in that markthalle is the brewery. It's funny, because on the other side of town in Moabit there is another markthalle that also has a barbecue spot (smoked chicken there is hella good) and a brewery. Better barbecue, worse beer.

I went to Markthalle Neun at New Year, I had some very good pizza. The brewery is great. My friend works for the German magazine Beef so he had some good hookups there.

Yea, vegetarian for a while, now vegan..
I have seen one veg/vegan burger booth there, didn't look that great so I didn't try this yet (and also, there's really great veg/vegan food right around the corner, at "Baraka" (Lausitzer Platz, left of the church).

Just got a lovely rack of lamb from Markymarket. Can't wait to cook it.
Cauliflower and broccoli go steamed in my kitchen. I squirt a little bit of good olive oil on em and enjoy the true taste of fresh vegetables.
