  • What's brgr.co in soho like? Aside from the terrible name?

  • its a controversial opinion but i prefer byron to honest

  • Waht about Slider Bar?

    http://www.sliderbar.co.uk/

Breddo's boys doing some great burger tings. Byron hard to beat their Double Shady is E P I C

  • question should be: "which burger place will i spend the least amount of time q'ing for."

  • Burger King

  • also - not entirely without merit. although the background muzak they play in BK is just awful. seriously - where do they get it from? it's like they bought a joblot of shite demo tapes at a romford carboot sale.

  • It's not controversial. It's just wrong.

I may be biased as the last time I went to a Byron (Greenwhich) I had gastroenteritis for two weeks...

  • I also think Byron is better than Honest. Having said that gf and friend both reckon they had dicky tummies from Byron - what do you expect if you order a rare burger?

  • also - you can make a pretty damn fine burger in the comfort of your own home.

    #neverpayforanythingyoucanmakeyourself

  • Come and try my burgers at The Loose Box, 51 Horseferry Road. Thinking about taking them out to the markets sometime soon. Feedback is needed!

  • I ended up going to Byron and having a smokey burger and it was bloody great. Just as good, if not better than, honest.

  • Just received 2 kg squid, 2kg short-ribs and 2kg chorizo.
I'm having 6 people over, one is a pescetarian.
    BRING ON SUNDAY LUNCH!

I have a plan, but Food forum, I am all ears on suggested preparations for mentioned meats.

My only immediate plan would be to ear it all before they arrive.

  • What's Nic eating? Haha!

  • nuts and berries!
(He can do squid. Might stuff him one with my chilli paste I made previously & breadcrumbs etc)

shit pic but you get the gist

  • I'm sure it's going to be delicious as you are masterchef but that ^ looks like a crime scene! Haha.

  • on another note, there's an almond tree in our courtyard. how do i tell whether they are bitter cyanide ones vs sweeeeet ones? (don't know what flower they produced, can't remember)

  • (No offence intended!!)

  • Nah none taken! MEAT!!!!

  • just finished a large bowl of potato and courgette soup
pots freshly dug this morning, three large courgettes from the garden onion garlic basil oregano from morrisons
delicious with some home made croutons and a sprinkle of cheddar and parmesan over the top
    feeling extremely autumnal now

  • Coke or Dr Pepper for the short-ribs?

  • Dr Pepper.
