Yeah, such a big fan, nice crisp bottle of your favourite, white/champagne get someone else to drive you home after you've eaten your own body weight in the freshest seafood for pennies.

Anyone know of any good Chinese/Thai places that deliver around SW9/Kennington area? 1 vegan as well.
Ta!
-
• #18682
I could suggest some places that deliver Thai but none that will send you a vegan.

• #18683
I lied about knowing places that deliver Thai too.

Beef ribs cheap in Whitecross Waitrose again £4.19/kg
-
• #18685
is that cheap?
-
• #18686
I think they may be cheaper in Brixton market, still haven't checked... Healthy Eaters again today, still can't walk after their 'small' portion...
On the subject of ranges, a pal's granddad in Oz has a used catering equipment company... It'll be one of my first ports of call once we buy our house...

I was just putting a loaf in the oven but couldn't find my oven glove - used a tea towel instead. I then caught an exposed bit of my hand on a oven shelf.
The flesh actually sizzled.

You can get beef ribs in most butchers on Lewisham High St but they are meant for boiling for soup etc. so the meat/fat/other stuff ratio is way diff to short rib or Jacobs ladder cut.

Bainbridge, you know what they say, do it right, do it once, don't brand your own peachy flesh.

Happened to me when I worked as a chef as a teenager. I took a pair of giant tongs to pop the blister [they went straight in the dishwasher afterwards].
My friend stood two metres away to watch, and the fluid flew in a perfect, glorious parabola right into his eye.

Looking forward to making something that isn't just pb&j squares, and eating something that's not in a sticky tube.

How do I tell the difference between sushi rice and risotto rice. I have two jars - no labels...
-
• #18693
I think risotto rice is more opaque compared to sushi rice. And fatter.
-
• #18694
Sushi is the shorter grain.

The blueberry and choc chip coconut rice squares, and the raspberry and mint coconut rice squares taste great.
I'm hoping they set a bit firmer though...
The frittata rice squares (they call them denver rice squares) are setting at the moment - will try them later.
