Yeah man, that place rules. There is a north vietnamese place there that has a rad pork belly dish that I daydream about. I heard rumors of Bún bò Huế existing there somewhere. I have plans of discovering if that is true. Bún bò Huế is the god damned best. The thai soup that I had today was pretty similar but I want the vietnamese dish. I haven't had it for so long, but it is so good.

I went to a Gail's bakery today, trying to complete my transition to someone completely middle-class.
Initially balked at paying £3.95 for a sandwich and £2.40 for a cookie, but then thought I'd see what the hype was all about. I can now see what the hype is all about. Omelette sandwich was absolutely sublime, the bread was amazing, and the white chocolate chunks in the cookie were the best bits of white chocolate I've ever eaten.

I ate at the park where the Thais go and sell their foods today (http://www.stilinberlin.de/2012/05/food-in-berlin-thai-market.html). I guess it is kind of grey marketish (i have been there once when the police shut it down). Today it was nice and sunny park day with rad foods that are otherwise hard to get in this land of 'the german taste'.
I had a Tom Lued Moo or similar spicy soup with the coagulated pork blood 'tofu' and a few small sweet sticky rice things. It was rad. If any of you find yourselves in Berlin and it is Saturday and it is sunny out you could do worse than to wander there and eat all the things.
