Really regretting looking at this thread today :(
I spent 6 weeks there and it was just epic. Went to Malaysia for 5 weeks immediately after that and the gastronomic game was raised even further.

It is almost unbelievable. Taste aside, the great thing about the food out there is the almost 24 hour availability of it. This is same across SE Asia though I guess
Going again for 3 weeks this summer. Cannot wait!

I just made myself a bowl of fish tea for the first time... Add sachet to 500ml of water, a bit of freshly chopped ginger, garlic and ginger and a thinly sliced potato and it turns out delicious... Super cheap lunch, I think they're three for a quid in the cash and carry... Nom...
