I may need tasters/help refining the idea/menu/concept
IN!
If you are sick and tired of your current design agency I can help with that too ;) -

It may be that I will shortly be entering the world of starting a pop-up (early doors right now).
It will be in North London and will involve burgers.
I may need tasters/help refining the idea/menu/concept - if you might be up for being involved in such an experience let me know.
Tasting? IN!

Let it be known that Tenderloin's idea is next level awesome-ness. I salivate at the thought of it.

Maltby St is full of people who think sipping chilled sherry alfresco on a Bermondsey industrial estate is not odd.
I've been fronted by some proper leary fuckers around there, not moments after discussing the nuances of storing late season Jura with my favourite affineur.

Me please!!
Also, yes, the Maltby St place was Monty's I think, and I mean that sandwich fat man Kerridge had with salt beef and pastrami. Bet it costs about a tenner but it must be worth it.

Yep Monty's Deli, I think it's £7.50 if memory serves well.

a earl grey candied bacon spiced porridge breakfast cake this afternoon.
Sounds amazing. Please define. Imagination running wild...
Did he smoke the bacon in earl grey?
How did he candy?! how? maple syrup?
was it on top? waz it in?
Spiced? Cinnamon, cloves?
Were apples involved? Coz pig and apple = good, cinnamon and apple = good... -

So...
The Earl Grey was infused in two parts.- The bacon was candied using Earl Grey smoked/flavored sugar. From germany or something so unsure exactly of how its produced.... Then chopped up into chocolate chip sized portions, and folded through the batter.
- The porridge that made the cake was made with earl grey tea, which the raisins had also been soaked in.
Apple would have overpowered the tea flavoring.
Spiced with a dash of cinnamon and allspice, attempting to enhance the tea's flavor.

Figs are 14p each at my local Lidl.
Chopped up skin and all (no stalk) balsamic vinegar, s & p, and feta cheese.
Warmed through under the grill on granary toast. A feast! -

These are bloody marvellous. I can't go a day without one now.
Cheaper than energy bars / gels though. -

Ate here last night as was heading to a gig in XOYO, didn't expect much when ordering the burger but hadn't clocked that it was essentially some sort of disco-bistro-associated pop-up. Burger was damn fine, juicy properly beefy meat, lovely crunchy sweet bacon and some sharp pickles. Proper. http://www.rotarybardiner.com/
