Saw this today, have you bought any?
I want to see someone else try it before I buy any...

  • Nah just popped in today to drop some Ektar to be processed, I'll go back next week and pick some up if I have the cash.

  • Went shopping for an ME Super or a Minolta SRT 101 yesterday. Came back with a Minolta X300 for half the price of the ME super. My only regret is not buying the full set of lenses to go with it. Loving it so far, will post pics when I have them. Wanted it as a car/posing camera.

    got them back - happy

The really underexposed one is from the FED3, which I'm still trying to work out

  • Did try out another 'cheap' film (under € 3,- for a roll of 135) -

...which apparently is some Fuji material in Agfa packaging.

Just scanning the first roll, and am pleasantly surprised -
it's far less grainy than the cheap 400 ISO films from the drugstore.
Skin tones in bright sun look shit (or I am not capable of scanning this) -
things look great. Contrasty and saturated, really like it.
    Will post some pictures later.

  • happy

Vegan boots? Look nice (both the boots & the picture).
    What lens?

  • Agfa Vista plus 400 / Pentax-M 135mm f/3.5

  • reflecto i see you

    like this one too

  • Cheers.

Yea, thought about just stamping away the reflection, but then I was like fuck it.

  • Always a good 'un seeing peoples reflections. Makes me want to see how stupid everyone looks taking a picture. I scrawn my face and hide behind the whole thing.

Great blog Tina, makes how we colour our environment seem to bloody boring.

  • Thanks Chak.

By the way there's a link to a nice couple of self portraits in the Photo of the day thread,
a lot of it analog, but I though I'd post it there.

  • Vegan boots? Look nice (both the boots & the picture).
    What lens?

Yes, vegan boots. They belong to Mrs P. The lens is the minolta md 50mm, f1.7. I do like this camera. I'm really impressed with the viewfinder. The auto mode is apature priority, and there's a fully manual mode as well.

Where did you find the Vista Plus 400? the 200 version is pretty common here.
