Finally finished an old roll on my Nikon N2000 from a few months ago. A few random things were revealed:

@HPx93, it's pretty hard to take a bad photo there. I love these modernist, campus buildings. I have other shots of the place but it's photographed so much that some compositions almost look clichéd. For me, the monorail entrance is the only original feature that remains futuristic. I loved it.
i hadn't really heard of the place before and now i see it everywhere (films, GTA, you name it) back to the point now i look back at your images i agree you've captured a kind of 80's sci fi look about it (especially around the right hand side of the top image)

brilliant shots, was he actually imitating the dogs on the wall or was that a coincidence? either way i like the relation in expression haha!

Yeah that was his impression of the dog.
The bouldering is at back Bowden in Northumberland.
The cat is simply deranged.

We play doubles in a different way up north.
Prints should be ready Monday I'm told. -

Like it.
Photographed from the car I guess? -

nefarius thanks for sharing all these, high standard as always.
Dog one is funny, and climbing ("bouldering" ?) and portrait shots are nice.
Though I have to admit (looked at them several times now) I don't think the film used work well with the images.
Like skin on Velvia, no thanks.
Also that monochrome climbing shot on XP2, really makes me wish I could see the same thing shot with a regular b/w film.
Maybe it's the scan, but given that you did that with the big Mamiya it looks really cheap (colour / tone wise! The image itself is neat!).
Does not look much better than an iPhone 5 snap with monochrome filter to me to be honest. Not trying to piss on your parade, jus' saying..

Oh, look - some people still make new analog film these days..
..not avaiable as of today (at least where I live), but this looks promising -CineStill Xpro C-41 800 Tungsten 135/36

^^^ It was while walking but I was being chivvied along so didnt have time to do more than a quick snap plus it was quite blustery but I liked the lack of sharpness

all the shots - lovely - wish my randomness had such pattern to it. I want you to go back and shoot that street scene again - the composition is pleasing. -

Thanks! It could have done with something going on the background, but I was just sitting outside the pub and took what I was given! Btw it is the Birdcage on Columbia Road/Wellington Row. The other outdoor shot is on the Lea River near Tottenham - I think that was the Ikea behind the old gasworks doing an ineffective photobomb...

Can't embed the image but I bought my first print from someone on flickr...

Totally valid TK.
The velvia portraits were just to finish a roll and I knew it's not the best set up. Same goes for the xp2, I wouldn't go as far as comparing it to an iPhone shot but I get what you're saying. I've got 5 rolls of acros 100 I'm looking forward to shooting, as well as a 3200 delta. -

Probably the wrong place to ask as everyone's either holding onto or using their film, but does anyone have any spare rolls of e6 slide film. Looking on eBay and there's lots of Fuji velvia going for about a tenner a roll, is that the cheapest I'll find it. Not fussed if its expired.
Let me know.

Check Agfa CT Precisa.

35 or 120? I've got some 35mm I could part with for a bit less than that
-
• #7173
Mac ready 35mm please, let me know what you've got and how much you want for it..
-
• #7174
Velvia is just super expensive in 35mm format these days. You'll get provia for a little bit cheaper. Agfa slide film is cheaper but inferior quality.

FUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
WANTWANTWANTWANTI've heard so much about cine film being worlds beyond available consumer films and this seems to confirm. Gonna try and get my hands on some for sure!!!
Also, was happy with this portrait.
Agfa Precisa, Yashica T4.
That cat seems stressed out.
