Yea. It's very good for the price (two for like €8,50 here at a drugstore).
Colours are bit "fresh", a bit on the cool side, but not much.
It "pops"...here's one; maybe not the best example but I'm not a my "photo computer" right now.

Thought i'd share a few snaps from my stag do.... all taken on a Yashica T3 while being slightly intoxicated. Can't recommend the camera enough...

Got the Portra 160 scans back from Ag today, pretty impressed! Had to do a touch of colour noise reduction but otherwise they are good scans. I re-saved them as Tiffs and imported them to lightroom for crops etc but they are un-fiddled with otherwise.

So much good stuff. Really nice photos of unremarkable things - something I've often tried and consistently failed at.

Cheers man, means a lot to get good feedback. What is most pleasing is that they have the look and tonality I'm always trying to get with digital shots which usually end up looking contrived and over-processed.
Tina Kino will say they're shit :)

Cheers both! The red thing is some installation that's currently on the south bank. Its a really deep, matte red that was really popping with the sun going down - really impressed with how the film handled it, I had my 6D with me too and the colours are...different.

Bought Pentax ME again after ten years (the SLR I basically started photography with).
So good to hear that shutter again.
Also so good to focus an old Pentax-M again. Fucking lovely.Bit worried though, as the aperture looks extremely jagged on some stops.
Can't really find some helpful info whether this is "normal" / "part of the design" or not.
I got the 50mm *f*1.7 Pentax-M. It's in pretty good shape, apertures click precisely, focusing is a dream, as I said. Glass looks really good.Does some of you have any enlightening knowledge about this?
Here's some quick picture I took -
@ 2.0
@2.8
@3.5
@4.0
..as you see it's symmetrical, starts really bad, and gets better stopped down (or can you just see it less pronounced) ..
Thanks for any help.

Perfectly normal, it's down to the shape and number of aperture blades

Yeah, that's meant to be like that. Fucking love the Pentax ME. Always pinching my Missus' one. Great viewfinder.

I love the ME too, only 35mm slr I've ever used, but it's never given me a reason to want to try anything else!
Just put my first roll of portra through my new pentax 645 and was hoping for a little advice on processing, I was going to send it off to AG Photolab after someone recommended on here, but I was wondering if anyone had used rapid eye in shoreditch?
I work just round the corner on singer street so I was hoping someone might have something positive to say about them, as it'll only cost an extra £1 or so to get a single roll developed and it's a bit more convienient than sending it away,
If they're terrible I'll go for sending it away and just wait

Awesome!
Fantastic as always (although you should invest in better film!!!).
I got a bit carried away ordering film (only needed a couple of cheapo rolls).
Anyone used the Agfa slide stuff?
