  • Anyone got any good places to pick up big bulk batches of expired film for a decent price?

eBay is pretty good for this - like so.

Film looks a bit like Portra 800. No idea about the cam/lens though.

  • I know the India stuff was on an XA, I'll ask him.

He does a lot of film stuff for work. He's got an amazing eye for composition and takes great shots.

  • ^thanks! I agree with the great compositions!

  • Good deal on out-of-date Velvia: here.

  • Does anyone on here use slide trays/magazines? I have a lot of seven of these to give away, was going to chuck them out otherwise. PM me, cheers...

Best deal these days for B&W 35mm is traffic film--- you know speed, red lights etc. enforcement. The stuff has an extended red sensitivity and good resolution. The extended red makes them extremely good for portraits.

  • sounds interesting. where can you get that stuff?

  • Just got some more Iceland colour negs back from that £2 a roll dev place off brick lane. One of the rolls came back with a scratch running the whole length of the neg gah!!

after a bit of climbing, shot on the XA (love the little thing)

yeah that is some serious leakage!

I never try new dev mixes on anything taken more than 20miles from home :p

all the portrait shots have posted too large, not quite sure how to rectify?

I would never do it normally! but i was really pressed for time and only had xtol and rodinal to hand. luckily it wasn't a disaster. that light leak was a result of me dropping the roll while taking it out of the camera.

If your using flickr you can choose what size you want when you copy the bbcode!

  • Great shot!

  • Quite a few things I wish were different about this but pretty happy still.

  • I'd be very happy with that if it were me

  • Cheers Spotter, she was a cool kid

  • RB67, Velvia 100f

  • Just thought i'd put this up here first before i hit it on the bay tonight

Canon 300TL Flash, I used it with a Canon A1, I think when i bought it, it was NOS, because even now there isn't even a scratch on it, absolutely perfect condition, these sell on ebay for circa £30,

special lfgss price of £25 posted

    (batteries included)

can get a pic up if anyones interested?

  • Tempted.
Would I be right in assuming I could use it as a remote flash?

  • Not sure, I've only ever used it on the hot shoe, I'm not really a 'flashy' guy :P

It's going on the bay now

  • I'll take it if it's not too late?
