  • ^^ that's the shot of the car you told me about right? Came out perfect me thinks!

  • yeah, about 4 seconds at f/16 worked best. thanks

  • Michael Wesely

  • Found a Lomo action sampler at the bottom of a draw. I wonder if it's worth anything?

  • it's worth whatever they'll pay, less S & H.

  • does any have a konica hexar hx-14 flash by any chance?

  • Just came back from a long weekend at Paris, gone through 3 rolls, looking forward to the results :)

  • This blog is awesome. Some of the captions are cracking me up

Can't tell if it's film or digital though

  • Exif says it's Canon EOS 600D.

    Nice pictures!

  • ^^ Some nice captures of the decay that is happening in Northern cities.. I gather from some of the pictures that its Leeds / Bradford, but could easily be Hull or any other big city up North. Boarded up pubs and shops, abandoned factories, graffiti ...

  • Does anyone have a Poundland near them that is selling 35mm film? The Peckham one used to sell it but stopped a while ago. I know Shepherds Bush has Agfa Vista 200 36 ex, but looking for one a little closer. Anyone know?

  • Lewisham 99p store, i bought some of that agfa stuff, good for outdoors in well lit conditions, bad for indoors with flash

  • I just inherited a couple of Nikons SLRs - FE2 and N2000 - and am wondering if anyone's got any suggestions for colour film for portraiture. I just got some fujifilm superia to monkey around with at home and got some stuff I like but it's all new to me. Yet to try out black and white, but I will also be inheriting a Voigtlander Prominent II so that should be the moment...

  • Kodak portra 160

  • +1, new portra 400 is fantastic too

  • yep yep portra for portaiture.
I used to have an FE2 until the shutter blades crumpled (a rivet fell out un-noticed) and I part-exchanged it for an FM3A. Used it a lot, very nice camera.
    (I may be drunk)

  • I'm after a decent 35mm slr with a prime lens, decent autofocus and decent built in meter. Anyone got any ideas?

  • Have a look through here, might find something that takes your fancy.

    **Nikon F5

**or F6, if you have the cash
or F75, if you don't, and want it lighter.

Cheers - looks like what I'm after. Now to just fund it. . .

  • Yea, depends on how much you are willing / able to spend of course.
F75 is really cheap used though, and apparently a very good camera if you don't mind plastic.

  • F100, F5's are absolute beasts and the F6 is crazy expensive.

    Not plasticy either
