Analog film photography and cameras

Came out a lot better than expected - it expired a few years ago and has been sitting in my camera bag for about 3 or 4 years on top of that.

Can I ask (yet another) stupid question... I'm puzzled about slide film. Can I just use it and get it developed like any negative film at my local photo shop?

No, needs to be developed as E6 rather than C41. Most places accepts them though, some posts them off to a centralised lab so make sure to check prices.

if they are willing to 'cross-process' then yes. some do, some don't, some charge extra. you get wacky/skewed colours and contrast.

if you want it to look normal, you need to process it as slide film (E6 process).

Does any one have one of these they'd be willing to sell me?

I like this too, Kalle. It conveys very well the feeling of being on a ship, which, even if it's very large and equipped with the latest technology, is still very small and insignificant compared to the ocean.
