Selling my Bessa L.

I've put it on the bay as there's free listing this weekend so shant post in classifieds but if anyones interested give me a shout, happy to pull it from the bay.

F4 has matrix metering so wins there. F100 has a shitty film door with plastic latches, breaks really easily unfortunately. Still, I would only swap it for a F6

Edit, Plastic door etc though and the film rewind fork is also plastic and known to be fragile.

You're right. Only with AF lenses though unlike the F4.

im thinking about buying a nikon f4 as my digital slr is broke and kinda going through a film phase.

anyone used it?

Also look at the F90x (N90s in the US). It leans a bit more consumer where the F4 leans pro in terms of build, external controls etc, but they are great cameras and can be had for a song on eBay.

that went for a bit of a lol amount. average of £1.50/£2 per cam, and about 90% of them aren't worth 10pence lol
A camera collectors whole lot went 5miles from me, collection only, and was packed with plenty of decent stuff (2-3 canon LTM RF's and lenses was what I remember well), for opening bid of £100 because of remote'ness, poor listing, crap mobile phone photo, no description or list of what there was and the sellers total 'you buy, you come and box and collect' policy. missed that one, whoops!

I did omit load of crap, can't work it out.

Perhaps another kodak nerd bought them for a collection

Hmm, not convinced.

For each good image there was 2 or 3 pretty forgettable ones.

As already said, seen better from others on here.

Definitely dig it as a whole. Some are better than others but some are fucking amazing; it seems to flow really well and tell interesting stories - the guy seems to live a pretty mental life. I actually like the fact he just posts everything too, it's a document of what he's doing and what's going on rather than just his best photos. It's pretty brutally honest at times.

I really like the weird cryptic captions too, hinting but not explicitly explaining. And then the intermittent rants and the general not giving a fuck. I like the chaos and what he seems to be about.

I hate this post because I'm trying to critically analyse something that doesn't need to be analysed.

It's a view into a world through photos and occasional words and he does that better than so many of the poseurs on tumblr trying to look cool.
