30mm is a mucho sought after lens. 'blaaaaad xpans are almost talked about in hushed wispers, not many people have even heard of them, let alone seen/used/owned one (I've touched one, but never had pleasure of using one).
They turn up quite a bit on rangefinderforums.com (right name?) and that korean/japanese film photography forum, might be worth advertising there.

I'm selling my hasselblad Xpan if anyone is interested.
Xpan with 45mm lens centre filter, boxes etc, v good condition , £750.
90mm, box, v good condition, £250.
30mm, with everything, v good condition, £1250.
Thanks.Ohhhhhh.... Very very tempted.... Best not, since I am not even talking much photos anymore these days. Good luck with the sale.
If you are desperate to sell these, you could try apertureuk in meseuum street outside of the main entrance of the British Meseuum. They specialised in Hasselblad stuff and should give you a decent price.

+1 to aperture UK, they are the ONLY used camera shop that I would even bother looking at if resorting to a trade in. they give a good price, and are just generally decent fellas, unlike 99% of the rest of the camera trade (ah la greys Westminster nikon snooty bunch)

^ If I end up going to hell after I die, it'd be because I always try a hard bargain there and they alway give in. That's how nice they are. Oh and I always insist they should play Chinese new year songs all year round, coz Richard hates it! Back to the subject, Richard fixed my tripod for free and I once wanted to buy a camera from the Internet that I wasn't familiar with, went there, Richard spent no less than half an hour researching the stuff for me and talked me through whether or not it's worth it, and where and what to check the camera. Try going to a different shop, I doubt you'd be treated anywhere near that. Love them, I'd rather pay more than the Internet to get my Hasselblad stuff with them.

^^ sometimes they are cheaper than the internet (on accessories etc).

My first foray into film since I ditched my Kodak Advantix APS a decade ago. What a shit format that was!

film seems to produce a depth and colour that you will never achieve on something digital, sucker for fine grain.
Couple of mine from the Chinon and the Oly Mju.

Lovely stuff. Can you tell us where each was taken/what film?

Somewhere on the Marin Trail. Three from Northwich. Cromwell Tower & Camden Catas in London and the last one is Blackpool. Few from expired Kodak Gold and Fuji Superia.

At Focus today, Ilford were selling film off cheap. 2.50 for HP5/pan F etc which was nice.
The pinhole looks pretty ace too, saw the 10x8 version they are bringing out soon. It has a few different holes on the front for shift(?). £400 though!

Testing the Lomo 135BC I bought from off Eyebrows recently. First shot. All is going well...
Unfortunately my scanner is utter rubbish.
First roll gave me maybe 6 mediocre shots out of a 24 exp. Currently on my second roll, so hoping I get the hang of it. I'll look into better scanning options too.
-
• #3718
^ 6 decent of 24 is pretty good, i usually get 2 or 3 out of a whole roll

3 blokes drinking is real nice.
-
• #3721
Thanks :) I'm looking forward to finishing the next roll and seeing what I get.
-
• #3722
i can go 3 or 4 rolls with out any particularly special shots then get 15+ out of a 36xp. such is the way

I just traded my 6 month old Oly Pen E-P3 for a Leica M6 TTL, and got myself a roll of TMax 400 to get started.
I understand that many of you seem to use Eye Culture near Brick Lane. I have read (in someone's blog) that they send the BW to a professional lab near Old street. Would you have any idea which one it could be ? (unless it's Delirium Tremens)

Maybe I'm under valuing the Oly EP3 but sounds like a hell of a deal. You have a lens that fits the M6 already?
If your gonna shoot tri-x rather than a c41b&w film then it'd definitely make financial sense to start devving yourself.
For what you'll pay to have a couple rolls of tri-x devved in a lab you could buy you most of the kit you need and for the cost of another couple you'd get chemicals. The dev I use (R09) costs me about £7 a bottle and a bottle lasts me, 6 months or so shooting about a film a week.
Having the extra control over how ur negs look is really good.

This deal came up like getting a 1999 M6 TTL for £750, however it has a paint default on the top plate. I already have a few M lenses, but the main idea is to use my old 40mm Summicron from the 70's, to have one of the smallest M combos available.
I though about the self devving, but I will probably have to take a course beforehand. The idea of being in full control of the final result sure is appealing !
