^^^ Good video. Nice to see police backing the photographers. The people filming and taking the pictures were practically baiting the security at buildings belonging to particularly jumpy companies and were probably there for a while before they were confronted. Think about the amount of tourists that carry DSLRs these days; those security people just have nothing better to do and if there's a guy outside with a camera for longer than 15 mins or so, they're going to give themselves something to do.

I tried to buy a 49 > 52mm adapter ring from an old guy who told me to just put it my pocket. I gave him a quid anyway.

Finally got my Yashica today after it got lost in the postal system.
I've had to order a new seal kit as the original was a bit perished. Does anyone have a battery adapter spare? Save me having to order one from the US. Also after a screw on 55mm hood if anyone has one knocking about?
I'm looking forward to using film again haven't touched it in about 4 years.

Boots are doing 3 for 2 on all films (inc. HP5, XP2, Superia) so you can get 3 films for £14, which is (almost) as cheap as internet prices. Just a heads up.

oh that reminds me, Silverprint are doing 3 for 2 on HP5+ at £8 something in total, and for anyone still doing RA4 prints they have Kodak Supra 8x10" at £10 for 50 sheets! so tempted to buy loads and stick it in the freezer...

Off to a friends wedding tomorrow. Going to give my new Bronica SQ-A a test run, think it'll be nice to get some portraits of my friends all dressed up. Also it's gonna be nice going to a wedding where I don't have to take any photos, and maybe take about 10, rather than normally taking about 2000 with a rucksack of gear to lug around.
