  • i currently have a k-mount to eos and a M42 to eos adaptors both cost les than a fiver from ebay, neither have af comfirmation and are essentially just solid metal adaptors with no contact points.
both still allow focus to infinity which seems to be an issue some come across.
there is a hell of a lot of cheap "old" lenses on ebay so its worth having a play about.
    anyway back to Film.....

  • Some photos from Owen Reed's gig last weekend: Delta 3200 at 3200 in DDX.

    Tri-X 400 @ 3200 in TMAX:

  • Nice stuff. I like the one where his guitar is all lit up particularly

  • Guadalajara Bus Station, Mexico.

Taken a year or so ago (takes me ages to get around to developing and scanning but I don't mind). Minolta X700 with 35/2.8 and Neopan 1600

  • Lovely.

  • These were taken on some waste ground in Stornoway using a Rollei B35/Ilford HP5 and stand developed in Rodinal

I really like these, windy. Nice compositions.

  • Been keeping an eye on this thread for a while now and have been insipred to get an XA2 and these are a few of the shots from my first roll. No experience of film before, didn't even know if the camera worked or anything.

Pretty pleased with how they came out, was expecting a slightly more saturated 'lomo' look but I guess that's just the film (cheap fuji 400). Might try some slide film next, or B&W.

  • they are really nice.
the saturated 'lomo' look tends to be achieved by cross processing slide film in c41 chemicals.

    Thanks, Oliver

That last one reminds me of a shot of St Pancras I did:

  • ^ Lies. You didn't film that, but an upstanding and sadly deceased member of this community.

How dare you sully his name by passing his work off as your own?

    I spit on you.

  • Yesterday was 'worldwide pinhole camera day' - I made this

  • Sweet shots Phil!

  • Agreed. Really like the sculpture against the blue sky. The dog is ace too. Bollocks to making your next lot look 'lomo'.

    Cross processing is wank IMO.

  • cross processing is what you do when you lack ideas, inspiration or visual awareness.

  • Don't hold back MrSmyth, tell it like it really is. ;)

  • From my latest Trip 35 roll. I love how imperfect they are:

    Hackney Road:

    Somewhere in Worcestershire:

  • post production should only fix errors not make the photo better

i don't agree. photoshop is just another tool to create the images you want.
it can be used well or spectacularly badly.
it's not a sticking plaster for bad photography though.

  • Photos from my girlfriends trip I borrowed last week, not a bad camera just a shame I didn't realise it was only 24 exposure film and ripped the last neg.

  • I really like that 2nd one.

  • I Though I would join in with Trip Photos pent the afternoon today deving a backlog of film.
these are from the first roll I have bothered to scan.

  • Is this the car park for the UBM building on blackfriars's?
