Yeah my bad. Was too good to be true. I just cancelled the payment with paypal. Either way you should be able to get your money back through eBay resolution centre

35s are better on rangefinders every time.
Can't wrap my head around if this is supposed to make any sense.

lol i Just got same email....cancelled. Apparently if you've paid you have to go through resolution centre

Lens design for SLR wideangles is difficult and compromised by the large gap between the rear element and film plane. That’s why a 28mm SLR lens will tend to be much bigger (and often more complex) than a 28mm rangefinder lens of the same era.
A longer lens doesn’t have these issues because physics.
You know about the relative merits of the different camera body types already.

Still haven't tried a Leica... Still don't know if I'll enjoy a rf...
Don't need a Leica to try a rangefinder, can pick up some fixed lens options cheaply.
eg I tried out a Yashica MG-1 in a shop the other day and they seem quite nice for not much money. Konica, Canon, Olympus etc all do similar for (relatively) little money -

Well, I've tried a Yashica Lynx but it was so horrid to use that it's made me stay away from them. I may buy another Nikon SLR before doing that to be honest. I like my FE2 but I'd really like to try an F2, as well.

Yeah. Thanks.
Read about that some time.
Don't know a single photographer who cares about this though to be honest. -

That's interesting. Was wondering why the 28mm Nikon lens I got was so much bigger than my 50mm.

Damn, even they have stopped.

I sold the broken one, the lense stopped going in and just took the hit and bought another.

Most have their preferences.
It was quite common to use rangefinders for street/reportage but move to an SLR for portraits/still-life/studio stuff and sports.
Going way back it was common (in the UK) for press photographers to use a Rolleiflex with fast film and a flash and sometimes a Leica alongside for ‘chromes’.

So I happen to have lost the slip case on for my Contax T2 which really does stop it getting it turn on in your pocket. Would anyone happen to have one I can get or buy? I would be eternally greatful.

Surfing with a Nikonos V (with dead battery) on Fuji Superia 400. Shutter speed defaults to 1/1000th of a second or something like that.

Think I've finally diagnosed the problem with my OM4, problem with mirror alignment is throwing the focus off. Which is fucking annoying when you get back from a holiday and you've shot shit loads on it. It's been so demotivating that I've still not gone through the photos properly.
