Googled for some photos to see what an EOS 300 would shoot like. The caption was: Canon EOS 300, EF 40mm 2.8 STM,Portra 400

Iiiiiii dunno. It’s a toxic relationship. Lots of issues we may never resolve.

I remember something like this too. It was where I hadn’t clicked the actual frame maybe? It’s been a couple years since I last used that software.

Will this work with a EF-S lens?
-
• #16412
EF-S doesn’t work on full frame or film bodies.

Look for a 300V or 300X model, they have a steel mount and a little higher shutter speed.
They can be had for peanuts on eBay..
Also if you want to keep it small and light you might check out this lens (Canon EF 40mm STM)
..it doesn't look like it but that's a really great little lens that can be had for under £100 used.I've got an EOS 300x and the 40mm STM and would also recommend this combo. If you want a zoom to go with it the original 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 USM with the metal mount is very good and can be got for cheap - i got mine from MPB for £70

Oh yeah, nice.
I just bought my first roll of Pan F ever.
Planning to do more daylight-ish shooting though!Actually I was reading elaborate diquisitions on Adox' CMS II (and how to shoot and develop it in "normal" developers).. long story short: while CMS II indeed can deliver excellent results with proper shot discipline - and its dedicated (and very expensive) developer - Ilfor Pan F is not that far away resolution and tone wise - and is a lot more comfortable to shoot / develop, so I thought I'll give it a try.

No, it's "Fujicolor Industrial 100".
Produced for Japan, but now slowly available over here as well, in ISO 100 and 400.
