  • T-Max P3200 come back ?

  • Weirdness ensues.

Hahaha! Very nice! Love when this happens!
8 years apart is quite special though

  • A generic sunset at Ruka, Olympus OM-1 / Vivitar 35 mm f/2.8 / Lomography Color Negative 400. Also, I got a free EOS-1! The camera was "broken", but the problem turned out to be an empty battery.

  • bump to new page as this is awesome!!

  • New camera day.... Just got this working as a starter camera for my daughter.
It had a blown shutter capacitor and the lens aperture blades were gunky and needed cleaning but it feels like a lot of camera for a fiver (+26p for the capacitor) I'm looking forward to playing with it

  • This looks "friendly" somehow.
I think this will make a very nice starter camera!

  • That's ace, I love that

  • Yes, I thought exactly that.. reminds me of my first SLR (Yashica FX3)
I was about the same age as her when I bought that.

  • More of the muted colourplus

  • I just bought an Olympus OM2. Enjoying using it so far (first analogue SLR) and nearly finished my first roll (hopefully it works...).

I fancy getting a wide angle lens (after seeing someone’s photos on this thread). Any good ones to go for/avoid?

  • As with most OM lenses the first versions were single coated. All others multicoated (considered better for colour).

21/24/28mm all come in f2/2.8/3.5 flavours. All are sharp afaik.

I quite like the slower lenses and have kept a 28mm. I tend to use wide lenses stopped down anyway and the f3.5 versions are cheap and totally tiny.

  • .... also I should mention there is the Kiron 28mm f2. That’s a nice thing 👍

  • One from the Mju that was in focus. Olympus Mju I x Kodak Pro Image 100

  • Portra 400 shot at 100/200 ..got some nice shots but boy these are a pain to scan, colours are like all over the place..

  • Nice. Will have a look back from the bay when (if?) this roll comes back ok

  • Trying a new lab, Latent Image, they offer C41, B and W and E6..... Not too expensive but I don't think they're super experienced.

Will report back with scans tomorrow.

  • Looking at their website they seem roughly equivalent to filmdev for C41, much cheaper for B&W though. They do downloads rather than CDs too, be interested to see how they turn out.

But.. five day turnaround because they offer a paid for express service.

  • Wow! That's really nice.

  • Worth the effort, those colours are great

  • Nikon F301 x Agfa vista 200

  • These are great. Super punchy and warm.

  • Really love the train one, yes the colours are very warm for vista... I usually get lush greens and blues..
