  • I haz spare kidney?

You'll only need to sell 0.4% of it to snag the M7!

  • Bargain!

  • Dream camera.

  • Does anyone have an Olympus XA they might want to part with? Or know where I could pick one up?

  • I do but it needs some work. The aperture selector is very stiff between F8 and 2.8

  • I don't think I'm up for doing that kind of repair..... are these little cameras easy to work on?

  • They're cheap as chips on eBay.

  • I'm trying to find the original XA rather than the XA1, XA2 etc that seem to all be on Ebay.

Also, I trust LFGSSers more that ebay sellers.

  • Just got 7 rolls back from developing after a week in Tokyo, had a nosey on the lightbox at work and they look alright. I think I'm gonna be spending most of tonight scanning.

  • (Nikon FE/Jessop PAN100/Shite Scanjet 5530)

  • Choir and choirmaster in performance... '-)

  • Well I picked one up on Ebay, so will see how I get on. Just went and grabbed 10 rolls of Agfa Vista 200 for £1 a roll from Poundland. This is going to be my back (jersey) pocket camera!

  • ^go careful when you sit down

  • ^^ edited. Will be used for documenting bike rides what I have dun.

  • ..ah, I meant to reply again to this but forgot -
of course it's nicer to buy on here, also I've noticed they're not that cheap on eBay.uk (compared to Germany, where they often go for under €30) - how much did you end up paying?
Anyways, have fun! Think I already mentioned I regret selling mine..

  • .

  • 645 x HP5 pushed to 3200

  • Shit, that looks more smooth than the 35mm Neopan 400 (non-pushed) I just scanned.

    Nice pictures by the way..

  • Maybe I've just become really shit at scanning though.

  • I think only just really worked out how to scan properly, I used to be a master on the nikon coolscan V 's but last year they got rid of them at uni and replaced with a couple of them tower 'star trek' scanners (not allowed to use them yet apparently) and some meh flat bed scanners. Flatbeds are very good for the 120 etc. but are shite for 35mm, really cant get them to scan like the coolscans, no grain and lack of detail plus they always seem to sit curly :-(

Miss the cool scans so much <3

    An thanks :-D

  • I guess my biggest problems are Silverfast, and scanning film where there's no profile for in Silverfast (like Cinestill).
Actually my black and white ones come out pretty shit as well!

    : ]

  • na na na na na na na na

  • batmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

  • Nice one Tina, the XA was £50.... maybe a bit steep but they seem to be holding their value well over here so can always shift it on.
