Hey guys,
From Glasgow, but at uni here. Ride Fuji track but it's back home just now.
What's your recommendations for bike shops re. fixed? ..done all my shopping online and at home.
Wanting a 17/18t sprocket. phoned around .. m steel, dentons, cycle centre in byker, and evans, none of who had anything in atm.
Where do most of you give your business ?
Thanks. -

for sprockets you might want to try edinburgh bicycle (shields rd. byker), they have a few surly bits.

Alright mate, I usually buy parts online like you say, not the best city to get your hands on parts just yet... Edinburgh do surly cogs but not sure what sizes...
As for repairs, wheelbuilds etc. I always use Denton, spot on service and price every time. They're also going to be stocking more fixed / track parts very soon.
I might have a cog that size... I'll check when I get home.

Hello.
If you have tried cycle centre and dentons, the only other place that would have anything fixed is edinburgh cycles. Last time I looked they had some wheels/hubs/surly sprockets.
I do all my fixed shopping online though!

Evans stock system-ex (ie formula etc) hubs sometimes, they also do a ship-to-store thing on their website if they don't have something in that you're looking for.

Cheers. I tried to phone Edinburgh Cycles, but i think i might've been shut, it was after 5 .. i'll probably pop in tomorrow.
Evans had some DA but that's no use, and some generic type that were too small.
How many riders are there in Newcastle ? I've seen a guy on a black bike with red champ grips from afar a couple of times, that's about it. -
