This is waterproof, superlight and has parakeets on it. Sealed zips and one of those special hoods that doesn't get in the way. Recommended.

I don't know if it's the extralight, but I have a little Montane windproof (not waterproof, but keeps enough wet out to stop you freezing) that packs down to about the size of an apple. It's a lifesaver - highly recommended.

I've got a Gore Path 2 jacket, and it's great but not the most breathing one. Also seems that it starts to let a bit of water through
Is nikwax good for goretex products as well?

Swrve hoodies are fucking warm - be warned unless you want to sweat it out or are cold blooded. The wwr trousers are great in the wet though. Well worth it.
for winter they are great.heard lots of good reports about the trousers, tempted to purchase a pair.

I have the summer WWR 3/4 and the winter version as well. Both are awesome. The winter ones are pretty warm, I had to leave Brixton cycles as I was starting to sweat in them lol.

Hmm guess it comes down to
Montane Velo H2O v. Montane FeatherLite Velo Jacket
It seems the Velo H2O is more suited for weather like we had yesterday (heavy rain), and the FeatherLite for the odd summer spray ?
I'm trying to find something for the winter times without getting all sweaty
Ordered one of these today:
http://www.walktall.co.uk/columbia-aravis-shell-tall-black-p-8183.html
only thing I could find in a tall fitting. I'll report back for other giants when it arrives.
