I fancy going on to clipless, recommendations anyone?

I was wondering if you lot could help once youve stopped larfin' at me . How do clip on etc pedals work? Are they easy to get your feet off once your clipped on in an emergency ? What types / styles are a good Idea for moi as a NEWONE to this type of shoe / clips etc.

Crashing a bike will generally unclip you from your pedals automatically IMHO.

I think clip on pedals are different to clip in pedals. Which are entirely different to clip clop pedals.

Clench the pedals with your toes.

I find it easier to grasp a stick which I then poke into the end of the crank arm.
