It's jumpers for goalposts weather soon in some of London's famous London's parks

i'm up for some forum footie.

played a couple of summers ago with some guys from here.. forget the names but was good fun whilst it lasted in clissold park.

Definitely up for fives. Don't have a midweek game these days so no danger of fixture congestion.

Kickabout in the park also appeals, meant to get meself along before now but never managed it.

this could be fun. when and where?

I'd love to play - but I've had a pretty constant stream of injuries from football in the last 6 months so consdering giving it up for a bit as it keeps ruining my training schedule

I am always up for a kick about, i would have shaken this torn thigh muscle in the next few weeks.. about the same time the weather gets good..

I'd be up for this. Regents park has got some good flat sections. I used to have a regular kickabout there. Great fun when it's still light at 8.

So, who's up for getting this organised? There's a leisure centre just of Old Street so pretty easy for everyone to get to, £5/person for a 45 minute session, if anyone knows of anywhere better feel free to suggest something.

I've never played at any pitches in London so better suggestions are more than welcome.

sorry - all the football I play now is in West London - Linford Christie, Westway and Moberly. All have good pitches.

However, I'm actually trying to cut back on football at the moment - keep picking up stupid injuries that stop me from getting out on the bike. Shouldn't really have posted in this thread!

In, Old st area suits me, ready in a week or two as s tarting a job around there.

On the previso that you don't play on faces ridden shit quality hayfever inducing grass. There are fuck loads of 'urban' pitches everywhere nowaday. There's a big one of Southwark Street. There's a couple near the SE1 polo courts/SE beers. Fuck having to root through shit encrusted bramble bushes cos some bananana footed melt has booted the ball miles off.

I'm in for anything after 6pm in reach of central, cool with faeces and shit. But as I'm more lurker than regular, happy to be reserve.
