Even walking around in Sainsburys in New Cross earlier today, 100% of people in there that looked my age were equal if not worse than that bloke with the cow scarf. It was pretty crowded for a Sunday afternoon too.

Roughest Sainsburys I've ever been in my life. I used to live just down the road with an ex I don't think I ever went in there with out someone kicking off or seeing people screaming at each other. Also full of wankers like you said.

Just to add some balance- I used to go there fairly regularly when I lived in West Greenwich, and thought that it was ok.
High% of hipsters, but it is right next to Goldsmiths, so that's like being surprised that it's hot near the Sun.
Scum% actually lower than a lot of SE due to Hipster dilution.

Lose the cow scarf and that outfit would be at least halfway acceptable if you lived somewhere warm and where people make an effort to dress nicely, Italy for example.
If that was taken in London's famous London then I despair. -

I think it was Jeremy Hardy who said that Sainsburys was only there to keep the riffraff out of waitrose

^Since the East London line reopened it's infested with doofus' who can commute direct to Shoreditch again.

I agree with Dammit actually. Been using the sainsburys in new cross for the best part of three years and found it not really all that rough at all. Asdsa and Lidl on okr are much rougher and I dont think I have any hip people in either of them.

When I lived in Portsmouth the closest supermarket was Waitrose.

OKR Tesco is amazing- finding fresh food in there is a nightmare.
Packaged microwave/oven stuff= got the lot, however.

I wasn't saying it was the roughest place in new cross, not by a long shot, just the roughest sainsburys I've personally been in, and this was 3 years ago now. Also i think i'm right in saying there was a armed robbery in new cross iceland a while ago.
just sayin'
I used to put my glasses on my dog before it became mainstream.
