I think I've said it a couple of times in this thread, that a lot of the people who get derided as 'hipsters' in this thread are just young people having fun in the fashion of their time. There is definitely the odd fashion experiment that goes awry, but no worse than in our own photo albums from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s ... (delete as applicable).

And you probably still can't tell how much someone enjoys riding a bike just from a picture. That is, unless the world has changed since I last checked.
