It's looking really good in the stock browser that came with my HTC sensation, but one little thing: the "comment" link is very temperamental and is unusable more often than not.
Try clearing the browser cache.

I'll look at it this morning, but if it's not effortlessly fixable I'm going to skip it.
The font in Firefox in the reply box should now be sans-serif.
If it isn't... then CTRL+F5 or Apple+R or whatever force refreshes the page on your machine.

The comment link crashed my mac earlier. Probably not the forum's fault to be fair.

I got nerged twice today... wtf?
You could introduce a rule that anyone who nergs twice in a month is banned for a month. That would encourage judicious use of nerging and give us all a break from the vigilante squad.

I considered in the past it being based "do unto your neighbour", a weird thing that would basically nerg yourself when you nerg someone else. So if you were a habitual nerger then you'd just destroy your own rep and in doing so, your ability to affect anyone else's.

Cheers Velocio. It is indeed a lovely sans serif font, but it is bigger than the display font (probably because I have selected a smaller display font for reading the forum). I'm not gonna bitch about it because I would like to see my keyword alert feature mentioned last night looked into at some point when you aren't too busy, and I don't want to piss off the boss!

Thanks, I did, it is, I'm happy, well done!
+ve rep added to offset the -ve.

VB, i think this all looks ace but why does the spy have 2 different sized fonts? The most recent posts are readble in my preferred font size, but the older ones are tiny

It's because the entry box is actually an entirely different web page.
That other web page is generated on the fly, and knows nothing about the font size stuff.
If Firefox did as other browsers do and allowed the font to inherit and through iframe boundaries then this wouldn't be an issue.
It's going to stay as it is now.

Older ones are older ones, why would you need to see those?
I'm kidding.
The page is crap, needs totally rebuilding. It still has some hard-coded font sizes in it (about 30 or 40 templates still do).
I may gut the page and replace it with something sane, but it's not a high priority.

Just received a NOS Nexus One to test the site on... really surprised that it looks great. And holding the phone horizontally requires no zooming at all.
Not sure it was worth buying a phone to figure this out, but hey it's good to have an Android 2.1 device lying around to test things on.

On Stackoverflow a +1 is worth 10 to the receiver. a -1 is worth -2 to the receiver and -1 to the giver. Seems to work

It has.
Just force refresh, clear cache, and if it's still ugly stop using Comic Sans as the default font in your browser.

Would you post more often if it was more attractive?
My goodness me.

I dont know anything about this stuff but surely you need at least a Nexus Seven by now? ,they were on Nexus Six years ago

I've got a Galaxy Nexus currently with Android 4 on it.
So I'm up to date... just had nothing old to check how things looked.

Can we get the thing back whereby the threads that I've read go a different colour or normal font instead of bold or whatever it used to be?
-
• #2072
This is what it used to be. It's just using whatever font your browser specifies, and at whatever size you specify.
-
• #2073
Noticed that if I'm on "Today's posts" and click on the new font re-size AAAA's, it punts me to the search page.

No luck. It's calculating the position of the popup incorrectly. The comment box appears correctly when you're clicking comment links near the top of the page, but the comment links towards the bottom of a long page result in a comment box that has drifted way south. Often out of the bottom of the viewport.
I suspect it's something to do with the browser reflowing the text when the page is zoomed. HTH.

Wiganwill, I am not bald in the slightest, unlike BQ. Please get your facts straight.
