send them back, seems to be a relatively common issue.
I wish Time would sort out their QC issues. French manufacturing must be able to make some quality products. Mustn't it? -

Ok guys I need Help! Im moving to Denmark in a month for 2 years and taking one bike with me. (going from 6 bikes to one is not easy) However Im taking my single speed cross bike (best of all worlds, plus Denmark is FLAT) I run times on every bike, and then platform pedals on my pub bike. Im after a clipless/platform pedal, time dont really make one, the MX4 seems the best option for cost, but it doesn't really function as a platform pedal per se, So Im thinking of jumping ships to the Shimano A530?
unless someone can convince me that the MX4 is comfortable as a platform pedal? :-( I love times but they dont seem to make a hybrid pedal?

There are flat pedals that have a time atac style release system on the other side.

Not related to the question above, but has anyone tried Look S-Track? Are they fully compatible with Time Atac cleats? There's a cut out at the front (or back?), not sure if that makes difference.

LEGEND!
Thank you!

Don't buy those.
They're very, very annoying;
They're really badly weighted. Plus they're pretty hard to clip into anyway with no surface guiding you (if you follow). The design is also flawed in that there is an unsecured screw holding the plate to tension the spring. This works itself loose unless you keep fiddling with it, inevitably sooner or later it'll fall into the road never to be seen again.
Most things MKS are pretty good but these pedals are crap.

The sun goes down.. (on what used to be the best pedals.. ever!)

Oh bugger... doesnt sound good :-/ loctite cant fix the srew coming loose?
They seem stupidly expensive on some websites, but I found a set down here in NZ for 27pounds so ill give them a go. Would have probably not got them had I seen this first... damn. ahwell...

I got busy with the loctite before even riding with them – I'd been warned! They still do their thing.
The QR system version is brilliant. I mean the QR is brilliant – the pedals are still a disaster.

yea damn. ahwell, ill throw another set of my times in the bag with me. thats a shame they are average though. They look to be perfect for what im looking for... maybe I do need to switch to sps, time used to make the all road gripper.. hard to find now though

We had a set at the shop that were given to us for testing. I liked them, but didn't find them to be different enough to warrant switching from Time.

Also interested in this. I dont think they'd be compatible with Atac cleats but would they be as good for fixed as Atac's? And what are the bits of plastic in the photo for?

Shims for people that don't stand up straight? Or shoe plate protection? The s-tracks do look good.

I bought a pair of these because I got fed up with beeing outbid when ebaying for time atacs. I love them! They are easy to clip in, feel very secure and much easier on the knees than the shimano spd they were replacing. Ended up buying a second pair to put on my pomp aswell.

I have them and really like them. Mostly use the platform side. But yes, the bolt and holding plate is a stupid design, mine are lost in the road. Replacement can be bodged with normal washers. There is some chat on another thread, Brompton I think.

If ever you ever want an extra pair...
surprised no one has started touting the 'advantages'(or exclusivity) of these yet:
