**East Beers will henceforth be held at London's famous Forumenger-run
The Jolly Butcher's
204 Stoke Newington High Street
N16 7HU**http://www.jollybutchers.co.uk/
On the corner with Garnham Street, and just opposite Stoke Newington Church Street
There is new bicyle parking outside, but take your pub bike and two decent locks.
I know it's an N postcode, but it's still Hackney and nobody seems to live further south than that anymore.
It shuts late and the range of beers is always amazing.Joe can reserve us a table if we get enough people down there each week.

'Garnham Street'
That empty sign frame needs a big 'LFGSS' logo.

This is excellent and I shall definitely be there a week tomorrow.
(Unless JCG can get a dodgy feed of the Arsenal game piped in for tomorrow).

sometimes earlier. -
• #8987
Alright... would somebody be up for meet before and ride there together? Don't want to stumble in there not knowing anybody... ;)
I live right off Brick Lane...

Ahh the Butchers, I do believe I may go for a pint or two...must resist the 8+% ales...must resist...
I imagine I will be there earlyish as I just live down the road, & I will try to remember a forum hat so the LFGSS table will be easy to spot. Its been a looong time, so see you chaps tomorrow!

If you can find the Metropolis 'gentleman's entertainment venue' on the corner of Cambridge Heath Rd and Bishops Way by 6:30 you can ride up there with me.
Otherwise go to Shoreditch High St and head north until you get to the pub. -

Busy this week but I will come sometime. promise.
Postcodist.
It's North-east, historically, well, just about. :)
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/6/61/Londonpostal_iln_1857.jpg
Unfortunately, the North-east postcodes were abolished in 1866 (and NE re-used for Newcastle).
Well, when you have forum drinks, they'll inevitably be full of yuppies and Shoreditch hipsters. There's nothing we can do about that. ;)
