I guess we can still lock to the railings by the smoking area..Oh dear. I've noticed that the price of the food in there has gone up in price recently as well.

Yep I'll take a look,
If it's not a mere adjustment problem then I can service a 3 speed. The springs lose their springiness, the pawl spring might occasionally snap, but usually they are like new inside and just need a bit of oil now and then. Grease is usually bad for them. -

Thanks both - not very good at explaining and will definitely come tomorrow.
But it is stuck in third (I think it's third anyway) and the indicator rod doesn't move very far at all - just over a cm of travel. I can't seem to unscrew it either (someone had suggested it may be bent, but can't see any exterior sign of this). Haven't tried using a pair of pliers to unscrew it as worried that may be forcing it.

Well am dropping in to collect cone spanners and be in a mood. So be warned.
-
• #6212
I'd better bring them with me then!
With them, a couple of spanners and a lockring tool we should be able to get that 3 speed working. -
• #6213
Can't make it tonight but should be around for next week.
-
• #6214
You reckon? Awesome =)
Do you need me to bring anything?
Apart from monies for beers, obviously.

Pembury turns into a cunts 'gastro-pub', sigh.
Mark my words, it'll be bar skittles and Ploughman's that'll be all the rage soon, they're so behind the curve.
Would have come to this but i have to go to some kind of social event involving non-cyclists.
