That makes 2 of us then. I managed to dislocate mine whilst snowboarding last week. Was out of place for about an hour / hour and a half. Man, my last 6 months have been such a shocker for injuries. I'll have to get a Wii and live a virtual modern life.

Turns out that it's not/wasn't dislocated. Doc now thinks I've fucked some ligament. I'm waiting for a scan to confirm this and may end up having surgery to fix it.
No riding for me for the next four weeks. As I said, 2010 sucks so far.

Hope you heal up quicker than it's going to take me.

Saw my physio today. I'll be awf the bike for about 4 weeks also depending on recovery progress, recovery as good as it gets at 8 weeks provided I exercise the shoulder as instructed - luckily no surgery needed thus far.

My commute is now a biatch......

Bugger, Gordon, more bad news. FOUR weeks off the bike? Not nice. Hope it's quicker, but just out of caution, it shouldn't be. :(

We both know how you really injure that shoulder. You should be glad it was the shoulder and not the blindness.
