Thanks DT
Was a top day, were you guys standing on the tables near where we were sitting just at the start of the first banking?
Its hard to hear when people shoot for you when your racing although you can kinda sense iot and I tend to be a bit insular when I have my race head on!Cheers again for shouting for us tho

Good to meet Wayne, Digger (sp? see him in Brixton a lot, don't know if he's on here) and Rob again (see you rollin' round the manor all the time)... I took off to the pub with my flatmate at about 12.30, the cold was gettin' a bit fierce and I couldn't find the beer tent! Good fun and well happy the sun came out... Hope to meet some more of you tomorrow night and at south London beers... Joe :)

I guess you made it yesterday then? I got down there and realised I didn't know what anyone looked like (didn't check the names and faces thread)... I recognised Wayne from his bike and Rollapaluza CC gear but that was it, was probably surrounded by forum members and didn't even know it... :S -

hippy
trampsparadise Somebody made the comment to me about the motor pace guys being just as big of Derny geeks as most of us are trackbike geeks...
http://imageevent.com/dernysportuk/janjonkerSpeak to Al about the derny love.. :)
winston: Has he finished the bike? Are you guys still teaming up?
Just home from the track where I've spent the morning polishing mine.

That motorpace racing was awesome, but i couldn't work out why the bikes were set up strangely, with forks facing backwards. Anyone enlighten me?

great day peoples. nice to chat and shoot the breeze. i took the holdsworth for it's first outing and non-stop compliments, it took me about an hour to move 100 yards along the road. thanks all for the kind words, the poor old girl got a little damp on the way home, although we sheltered for the majority of the stome.
sorry i didn't make it to the pub, had to go to a comedy night and i'm sure i'll see more drunken antics b4 the weekend is over! :p

I thought you were a man of the world dale..
you've got to treat your women like you treat your bikes:
strip them down to bare metal, press in a headset and ride them all day long.
