Bit stupid the way those double straps manage to be fitted together¿?

I've lost count of how many of these horrible bikes have been wrongly posted on the porn thread,
Don't be daft..

Exactly..

• #6505
whats so horrible about a 1993 cannondale track???
-
• #6506
Simply because it's being ridden on the street instead of the track, from what I assumed Mitre is going on about.
-
• #6507
Who gives a fuck, it's a nice bike and that photo is of a particularly nice 'build', that is all.
-
• #6508
Actually, the stupid risers on that build are a minor problem. The real reasons why I hate Cannondales are the aesthetic disaster that is the poorly matched fork and the offence to engineering of the cantilevered track ends. The faux-pro geometry on that size isn't helping. It's a couple of small changes away from being a very dull and ordinary bike which shouldn't then find itself on either thread.

Am I the only person who likes the mis-matching of forks on tubing on those 'dales? I think it looks great! (if a little strange)
-
• #6510
it matches the rear seat stays
-
• #6511
I have to admit I do prefer those cannondales with bullhorns/TT base bars but this is in no way anti. The forks suit the bike well. Open sports also seem a little lo-end on this bike.

Moved to correct thread
haha, why? Apart from the protector I think it's a lovely SS build. Personally I wouldnt ride it with a crankprotector, but the rest of the bike is tits.

I know...I was emphasising the point that I think the Mash looks crap.
-
• #6522
why?
1: Top tube pad
2: Risers/track stem combo
3: Risers on a lo pro
4: saddle angle
5: seat post the wrong length - to be total porn with those posts, you have to seek out the shortest one that can be used without going above the limit line, not the longest one that doesn't encroach on the aero section
6: cable adjuster on the gear lever boss
7: chain guard
8: bear trap pedals
9: half toe clips
10: "magic gear" which isn't actually magic, check the alignment of the qr nut and the dropout
11: fake Turbo saddle
12: unmatched tyres
13: rear valve stem too long
14: 36h F / 32h R spoke count fail. The other way round might have been acceptable. -
